"an absolute unstoppable juggernaut of emotive intensity"

_

-Chaz Kangas (culture reviewer, Village Voice, LA Times, MPR, & LA Weekly)

"The body movements were amazing and the brutal honestly and vulnerability the performer showed in describing and reliving the pain and events made for an absolute unstoppable juggernaut of emotive intensity.

The "Fuck You Lauren" part has been sticking with me all day. The production took this very specific exceedingly awful interaction and made it feel so accessible in universal revulsion. It tapped into the memory so perfectly I felt it reach inside me.

The vocal effects when it would go layered and back-and-forth added such an immersion into the voyeur aesthetic. The deconstruction of the 70s peep show into a tale of an involuntary audience for a medical procedure (which hit again super hard at mention of pulling over crying after hearing the NPR piece) made for a fabulous work of art.

A seductive bulldozer of trauma and anxiety."

-Chaz Kangas (culture reviewer, Village Voice, LA Times, MPR, & LA Weekly)

"Thank you so much for putting your heart into this show...your piece inspired me in so many ways!

...the whole concept of a peep show was genius.

I can also say I felt a new level of empowerment from witnessing a woman be authentic about her experience in her body and with the medical system.

I...can relate to so much of what you shared, esp. how my body has often not felt like it belongs to me. My favorite moment was...really nurturing to my soul and

honestly gave me permission to tap into some of my own rage...

I loved the tips scene and your dancing was so beautiful. I hope this show gets to keep going!"

"I just finished telling my wife all about the show... we have had a nice discussion about it. (I saw other professional theater recently), but (this show) was significantly more absorbing and thought-provoking, and I'm very glad that I went.

Concerning your future productions, the main thing that I want is to make sure that I know about them in a timely manner and can come to them. So just be sure to put me on any relevant mailing lists."

"...so much was hitting home

in so many ways..

I never feel 'seen' and this show I did"

"(The show) was very strange but it captured...a way of communicating what (the performer) went through and the scars it has left...very clearly."

"Holy shitballs, (the performer has) been through...

A LOT!...I really appreciated the deep vulnerability...

I was also especially touched by the 'this show would be better if' section. Deeply resonant for me and I’m sure for many/all artists."
